Who are we?
Silicon Valley Women Alliance is a 501(c)3 organization active in the Bay Area. The purpose is: charity and public welfare, cultural education and women’s affairs. Silicon Valley women Alliance is enthusiastic about serving the community. They funded and established the Silicon Valley women Primary School in the impoverished mountainous area of Sichuan to raise supplies for the school. In Gansu, a project for deaf students has been established, and a one-to-one donation has been established for deaf-mute students with excellent academic performance and poor family background. Since its establishment, it has held various activities, lectures, dances on Women’s Day, and a grand celebration of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in May. Over the past 4-5 years, the alliance also added newly focused STEM empowerment for our youth (K-8, 9-12) such as art and writing essay submission, solar power and Artificial intelligence workshops for the schools, coding competitions, sustainability fashion workshops, and speech debate skill classes.

What is our mission? Our mission is to help our women community (no matter they’re here or around the world) to build up an efficient communication channel among ourselves and our families, friends, significant others; To cultivate a ground for friendship seeking and support gaining; To establish our unique values and identities; To enrich our visions and lives; To share and appreciate our own culture and heritage; And essentially, to live a meaningful life in this high tech capitol of the world.
We offer a variety of activities to this community. These activities include but not limited to social gatherings, salon discussions, relationship and family related seminars, career development and self-improvement groups (such as career path design, personal beauty design, floral arrangements, gourmet foods, outdoor sports and martial arts…).
Brought together by the same belief and understanding, we, a group of ladies in the valley initiated this SVWomen group. We cordially invite you, no matter you’re male or female, no matter where you are, to join our group and group discussions and activities.
