四月的硅谷已是春光明媚，鸟语花香。众书虫又相聚在一起。此次书会的主题是王小波及其作品。
从小说到杂文，到电影剧本，众人娓娓道来他们对王小波作品的感触。其杂文语言幽默风趣，逻辑严谨，于谈笑间阐明许多深刻的道理；其小说生动流畅，人物刻画活灵活现。字里行间无不洋溢著他对生活的热爱，对自由的向往和追求。
大家一致认为，王小波的作品之所以在众多作家之中脱颖而出，在于他的不畏世俗，从不因为畏惧社会的巨大压力而委曲求全；在于他的智慧以及幽默，极少有作家能够像王小波那样善于思考并将其思想生动有趣地诉诸于笔端；在于他热爱自由的心灵。读他的作品，常常会有飞翔的感觉，感叹人生是如此美好快乐。
书会在一片吃喝之声中圆满结束。
